First of all I hope everyone had a great mother's day yesterday! I had a fab day, got to have a lie in and then do some crafting, visited my mum and nan abc then had dinner with the soon to be in-laws! Normally I would be doing some kind of house work do it was nice to just relax and enjoy the day!
So now that it is over I can post a pic of the card and present that I made for my mum, she absolutely loved then and did get a little tearful bless her, she loved them that much that she put them straight on and wore them all day!
There is only the one pic but it shows everything and it was all handmade by myself even the box I put them into!
Hope you like them and thanks for looking!

Recent makes
So I was on holiday last week in Egypt and the reason of the holiday was for my little sisters birthday who turned 24! We had a great time and I made her card to take over with us so she had something to open while we were out there! It was also mine and phils anniversary on the 2nd feb, 8 years we have been together and next year we will actually be getting married! Here is the card I made for him.

Whoopsie!!!
Ok so the last time i posted something was back in May, what in the world have i been doing! Well not much really except working!
I have recently started making my christmas cards, yes i know its only September but last year i left them all to the last minute and i'm determined not to do the same this year! I got a new Woodware stamp set and Dovecraft paperpacks from a new craft shop that opened in town so am trying to stick to using just those for all my cards this year, love how they are turning out so far and will post a pic once i take some!
Well im off to start getting things ready for madams first day back at school tomorrow, cant believe she will be going into year 2 where has the time gone!
For now will leave you with one of my fave songs!

Birthday card and bag charm
On friday night i went out to the resturant Made in Thai to celebrate a friends birthday and we had such a blast! I decided that i would make a simple handbag charm for her which she loved along with the card i made her. For the card i used a Lili of the Valley stamp which i adore and a sentiment from them aswell. I coloured the stamp in with my Promarkers amd added glitter to the feather boa.

National Scrapbook Day Challenge #5
So i decided to have a go at another challenge, challenge #5 for the MPS National Scrapbook Day. This challenge was to create any 3D item or to add a 3D item to a page or a card, well for a while now i have wanted to decorate some mache letters for Izzy's room so i had Philip take me to Hobbycraft to grab a few supplies! I grabbed the letters to spell out Izzy, some pink acrylic paint and some patterned paper. I painted the back and the sides of all the letters and then glued on the patterned paper, then i covered them in mod podge and stuck on a large flower i brought and some paper and tulle flowers i made. Izzy totally loves them and i cant wait to make some more!
